Jill Elaine DeAquair
November 20, 1942 – March 5, 2025

Jill Elaine DeAquair, age 82, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 5, 2025.

Born in Columbus, Indiana, on November 20, 1942, Jill was a loving mother, devoted daughter, and cherished friend. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doloros Baker; her father, Harold Baker; and her brother, Harold "Hal" Baker.

Jill is survived by her daughter, Stephanie DeAquair; her son, Stephen DeAquair; her daughter-in-law, Leasa Nanney; as well as her brothers, Greg Baker and Mark Baker, and their families. She leaves behind many loved ones who will miss her deeply.

For 30 years, Jill worked as a legal assistant, retiring in 2009. She was known for her dedication, professionalism, and warmth. In retirement, Jill enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, often spending time at the beach, listening to the soothing sound of the ocean, and traveling. She had a deep love for animals and cherished her time with family and friends, who were her greatest joy.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Jill's name.
