Jill Lee Worden, 70 of Vero Beach, FL and Grand Rapids, MI passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was a 1963 graduate of Ohio State University, and a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority.

Jill was a caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful friend and gracious hostess. Her pastimes included bridge, gardening, trips to the casino and Ohio State football.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Alfred M. Worden; daughter Tamara (Jeff) Christians of Grand Rapids, MI; step-daughter Alison (Bill) Penczak of Sugar Land, TX; grandchildren, Katherine & Cole Christians and Will & Dan Penczak; nephews, Sean & Patrick (Danielle) Lafferty. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Marguerite Lafferty; one brother Robert Lafferty.

A private Celebration of Life gathering will be held in Grand Rapids, MI in the near future.
