JIMMY RAY HENDRICKS
Beloved Father and Grandfather, Jimmy Ray Hendricks of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2012, at the age of 69. Born in Brewton, Alabama on April 2, 1943, Jimmy is preceded in death by his brother, Bernard J. Hendricks. He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Hendricks Brown, of Brewton, Alabama and Amanda L. Hendricks, of Vero Beach, Florida; grandson Jackson Ray Carpenter; and granddaughter Kendall Elise Carpenter, both of Brewton.
Jimmy loved life, his family and friends, fishing and the ocean. He worked as a Certified General Contractor in the Vero Beach area for over 31 years and as a Commercial Fisherman for most of his life.
He served his country by enlisting in the United States Army from 1968 to 1972; during which time he was stationed in Korea.

Services: Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 24, 2012; followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Gary Moore officiating at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home.
