Joan F. Costantino

Joan Frances Costantino, long time resident of Vero Beach, passed peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

She was born to the late Alexander and Olga Costantino on February 24, 1939, in Providence, Rhode Island.  Joan grew up and graduated from Cranston High School.  Joan was preceded in death by mother, Olga Catherine Martinowitz, her father, Alexander August Costantino, her brothers, Alexander Walter Costantino and Robert Stephen Costantino and her partner Elizabeth (Betty) Farrell. She is survived by her niece Kimmy Costantino of South Carolina, and cousins, Steve Keiper, Michael Conti, Cathy Conti, Kathy Keiper, Joyce Banks, Walter Powell, Mary Ihloff and Susan Morgan.

Joan had a career with Warren Oil in Gas Station & Retail management.  She was also a Veteran of the United State Navy, she was very proud of her service to her country.

Joan was very active in her community at Heritage Plantation, always ready to prepare wonderful Italian Food for their annual Garden Club Fundraiser, as well as volunteering to help prepare Thanksgiving and Easter Dinners for the community.  She also enjoyed being a member of local bowling teams and was an avid golfer.  She loved to travel, going on cruises and would never turn down the opportunity for a trip to the Casino's.

A service will be held Friday, January 10, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Cox- Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, follow by a celebration of Life reception.

In Lieu of flowers, Joanie requested that you make a donation to the Vero Beach Humane Society or St. Jude in her name.
