Joan Marie Hershberger, 51 of Sebastian, Fl died unexpectedly March 9, 2008 at her home.
Mrs. Hershberger was born April 29, 1956 in Hazelton, PA and moved to Indian River County in 1988 from Miramar, FL .
She worked for the School District of Indian River county 20 years, presently serving as an Administrative Assistant to Principal at Sebastian River Middle School
Survivors include her former husband of 27 years Richard; 3 sons, Richard Hershberger of Carolina Beach, NC, Joseph and Jeremy Hershberger both of Sebastian; 2 daughters, Amy Caldwell of Vero Beach, Lisa Brumley of Sebastian; her mother Florence Shimko of Monroe Township, NJ; a brother, Mike Shimko of Deltona, Fl; a sister, Sue Rose of Coral Springs, FL and 6 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held March 12, 2008 from 6-8 PM at Sebastian River Middle Schools auditorium.
