Joanne Elizabeth Eddy, 71, of Vero Beach, FL passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.

Joanne was born December 16, 1943 in Jackson Heights, NY to Grace and Arthur Niebergall and grew up in Sayville, NY. Joanne worked in Thornhill's Pharmacy for 45 years doing various jobs from bookkeeping to window dressing. She retired in 2005 and relocated to Ft. Pierce from Sayville.

Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Eddy Jr in 1991, she is survived by her daughters, Kelly Ann Hughes of Hastings on Hudson, NY and Susan Hughes and her husband, Richard Hammett of Newport News, VA; son, Brian Hughes of Ft. Pierce; granddaughter, Erica Hammett; sister, Linda Steele and brothers, William (Joanne) Niebergall of Center Moriches, NY and Gary Niebergall of Kissimmee, FL.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 PM, Wednesday, March 4, 2015 with a Prayer Service at 4:40 PM at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. Interment will take place at Calverton Cemetery in Calverton, NY.
