Obituary

Joseph (Joe) Martin Bledsoe, Sr. entered into the arms of Jesus on Monday, May 30, 2016 after many courageous years of struggling with Kidney failure & Heart disease. He was such a fighter & his strong faith in God and desire to live was unsurpassed, often surprising the medical community.

His working career consisted of working at the Permalite plant in Vero Beach and auto paint & body repair. He owned his own shop and was very talented and passionate about his work.

Joe simply enjoyed life and loved people. He never met a stranger and made many friends. He relished getting together with family & friends to have cookouts and chat. How he loved to fish and garden! He also took up art when he started Dialysis. But, most of all, he loved to talkabout life, Jesus, fishing and the good ole days of his youth in the coal mining state of Kentucky.

Joe is predeceased by his son Michael, his parents Casey and Alice Bledsoe, brother, Jonah & sister Gloria. He is survived by his wife, Gladys, and his children, Valerie, Teresa, Joseph Jr. and Rhonda, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Siblings, Casey Jr. (Linda Sue), Tony (Debbie), Randy, Avennell (Danny), Brenda (Carlton) and Linda Kay. Numerous cousins and Aunts Rose and Shirley. Joe will be sorely missed by his close family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate his life is being planned for a later date.
