Joel Briggs Day, 72, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Day was born January 23, 1938 in Bridgeport, CT and moved to Vero Beach 6 years ago from Miami, FL.
He had worked for Day Broadcasting as a Broadcaster in Vero Beach and served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Day was a board member of the Pelican Audubon Society in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife Lee Day of Vero Beach; daughters Julia Clark Day of Longmont, CO and Neva Briggs Day of Manhattan Beach, CA; son Jonathan Boyer Day of Los Angeles, CA; and one grandson.
Services: A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pelican Audubon Society, PO Box 1833, Vero Beach, FL 32961.
