John J. Amodei, 85, of Spanish Lakes Fairways, Fort Pierce, FL, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, FL.

John was born June 1, 1929, in Manhattan, NY, son of the late, Anna and John Amodei.
John loved traveling for over ten years with his wife, Toni.

John and Toni moved to Spanish Lakes Fairways fourteen years ago from Toms River, NJ. Prior to retirement John was a wholesale buyer for Office Furniture and Design.
He was a boxing manager in the 1960's and a avid Yankee fan all of his life.

John attended St. John of the Cross, Vero Beach, FL, and a member of Italian American Club, Spanish Lakes, Fort Pierce, FL.

John is survived by his wife of 12 years, Antonia "Toni", Amodei, of Spanish Lakes Fairways, Fort Pierce, Fl, stepdaughters, Roselinda Hatcher and her husband, William, of Jacksonville, NC, Melissa Sacco of Allenton, NJ, Victoria Massara, and her husband, Alan, of Avon By The Sea, NJ, sisters, Mary Thompson and Petrina Bucker both of Seattle, WA, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Prayer Service will be held, on Thursday, April 9, 2015, 11:00am, at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
