John E. Borzell, 93, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at the VNA Hospice in Vero Beach, FL. John was a native of Brooklyn, NY.
Prior to retirement John worked for Marshall Smoke Fish Company for over thirty-five years. He was of the Catholic Faith and a veteran of the United States Navy.
John loved to golf, watch TV and play cards.
John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Borzell of Vero Beach, FL, son, Robert Borzell and his wife, Grace of Hooksett, NH, daughter, Christine Franke and her husband, John of Vero Beach, FL, brother, Anthony Borzell of LINY, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters and one grandchild.
Visitation will be from 11:00am until 12:00pm, Friday, August 7, 2015, at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 12, noon, at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce, FL.
