John J. Connelly, 89 of Vero Beach died February 22, 2023 at Vero Beach Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Connelly was born March 24, 1933 in Hartford, CT and lived in Vero Beach since 1998 coming from Weathersfield, CT. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. John of The Cross Catholic Church.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and  was a graduate of St. Augustine School class of 1947.

He was a member of sheet metal workers local 40 in Hartford, CT and a sales engineer for DoAll Company of DesPlaines, IL.

He will be missed by many friends and his loving companion, Vivian Shaw.

Interment will be held at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rock Hill, CT at a later date.
