John Paul Dair of Sebastian, FL died Tuesday, March 4th, 2008 at his home. John was born on February 2nd, 1923 in Paterson, NJ and moved to Florida in 1987.
John was a 6th grade school teacher in New York City. He was a veteran of WW II and the Korean War serving in the Army Air Corps and the Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant.
Survivors include his wife Marion; daughter Linda and her children Lucas and Alicia; daughter Virginia and her husband Robert; sons John and Bill; brother Paul and his wife Joanne; and brother FR. Richard. John was predeceased by his sister Virginia.
The family will receive friends 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2 PM, Friday, March 7, 2008 at St. Helen Catholic Church. Interment with military honors by Sebastian River Area Veterans Honor Guard will follow at Sebastian Cemetery in Sebastian.
