John DeChellis, 51, of Staten Island, NY died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Staten Island, New York.
Mr. DeChellis was born February 11, 1960 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Vero Beach in 1974 from Carteret, NJ.
He graduated from St. Edwards High School in 1978 and Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL in 1982.. In 1983 he began his career with E. F. Hutton and then went to Raymond James Financial in Vero Beach before moving to New York in 2007.
Survivors include his sons John DeChellis of New York City and Michael DeChellis of Columbia, SC; parents Nina and Carlo DeChellis of Vero Beach; and brothers Anthony DeChellis of Darien, CT, Robert (Tiffany) DeChellis of Minneapolis, MN and Daniel (Julie) DeChellis of Raleigh, NC.

SERVICES: The family will receive friends 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, Monday, May 30, 2011 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. Mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Tuesday, May 31 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Interment will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park in Palm Bay, FL.
