John Joseph Fraser of Fort Pierce died at age 83 on Memorial Day, May 26, at Kindred Hospital in Fort Lauderdale.
Mr. Fraser was born July 14, 1924 in Rye, NY and moved to Spanish Lakes Country Club, Ft. Pierce, FL in 1983.
He graduated in 1938 from Resurrection Parochial School and in 1942 from Rye High School. He married Mary Patricia "Pat" Tracy on Oct. 20, 1962. He was a devout Catholic. He had worked as a salesman for Bumble Bee Foods Inc. and Keebler Cracker Co. His wife described John as a gregarious, fun-loving, caring man. "He was always doing things for others and oh, what a great sense of humor he had. He could really make you laugh. Everyone loved him," Pat Fraser said.
In addition to his wife Mary Patricia Pat Tracy, he is survived by his sister-in-law, Jane Dawson Fraser, and her children Donna and Bradley. His brother, James Bradley Fraser, died earlier.
Service: A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 208 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2025 20th Ave., Vero Beach.
