John F. Hammond, 79, of Sebastian, Fl died February 13, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Hammond was born September 14, 1919 in Wilmington, DE and moved to Sebastian 25 years ago from his birthplace.
He was a retired salesman from Bearings Inc after 30 years an was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian Elkss Lodge and the Sebastian Golf Course.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Pauline Hammond of Sebastian, FL; a son John Hammond of Palm Bay, FL; a daughter, Judith Hammond of Wilmington, DE; a brother, Francis Hammond of Wilmington, DE and 2 grandchildren.
A. memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Roseland United Methodist Church.
