John T. Harvey, 58, of Vero Beach, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. Mr. Harvey was born May 22, 1955 in Minneapolis, MN. He had been a resident of Vero Beach for 30 years, coming from Melbourne. He started working at TruGreen in 1982, and retired as branch manager after 29 years.John was an avid golfer, football and NASCAR fan.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Diana Harvey; his cats Barney, Charlee and Blackey; mother, Paula Harvey of Melbourne; brother, Fred Harvey and his wife Sheryl of Odessa; sister, Mary Daly and her partner, Randy Dobb of Jasper, AL. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Harvey and his in-laws, Earl & Charlotte Goodson.
A memorial will be planned at a future date. To all of John's dear friends the family would like to thank you for your support and friendship.
