John Jack J. Donahue, age 81, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at his home in Indiantown where he had resided since 2004.
He was Potentate of the Amara Shrine Temple in Palm Beach Gardens in 1994. He was preceded in death by his wife Anne and son Stephen Donahue.
Survivors include sons, Timothy (Darlene) Donahue of New Jersey, Christopher and Sean Donahue both of New York City; daughter, Mary Heitmeyer of Apopka, Fla.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Fred Knapp, Jr. of Deerfield Beach, Fla., Bob (Judith) Knapp of Palm City, Joseph (Nancy) Knapp of Parsipany, NJ, and Gerard (Emily) Knapp of Alexandria, NJ.
Visitation will be held Feb. 24 from 3-5 pm with the service at 5:00 pm at the Amara Shrine Temple, 3650 RCA Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Entombment will take place on Friday, Feb. 25 at 10 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, 10941 Southern Blvd., Royal Palm Beach, Fla.
