John Rachko, Jr., 92, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Rachko was born October 12, 1917 in Nanticoke, PA and moved to Vero Beach in 2002 from Hollywood, FL.
He retired from the US Army as a Chief Warrant Officer after 20 years of service. Mr. Rachko was a veteran of WW II, where he was a Pearl Harbor Survivor, and was also a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years Isabelle Rachko of Vero Beach; daughter Laura Rachko of Irvine, TX, son Philip Rachko of Vero Beach, brother Daniel Rachko of Lakewood, NJ, sisters Julia Goroski of Clifton, NJ and Irene Pearson of Berkeley, CA and one grandson.
He was predeceased by his brother George Rachko.
Services: Interment will be at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
