John Laidlaw's Obituary
John Laidlaw, 86, passed away in Fort Pierce on Dec. 2. He was the beloved husband of Helen Laidlaw, father of Robin Laidlaw Martin, John Thomas Laidlaw, and Kim Laidlaw, grandfather of Ashley Mortimer, Alex Martin, Joseph DellaVecchia, Scott Laidlaw, Barbara Martin and 1 great grandson Colton Mortimer.
John graduated Newark College of Engineering of New Jersey as a civil engineer. He was a member of The Masonic Lodge of North Arlington, New Jersey and was just presented a certificate honoring his 65 years of service. He had been a Spanish Lakes HOA board member, as well as an active member of the Spanish Lakes Fairways community as a member in the golf club, bocci, bowling and the art club.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution to Hospice House of Midway in Fort Pierce can be made.
