John Joseph LaRocca, 59, of Sebastian, FL died Monday, August 16, 2010 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.
Mr. LaRocca was born July 13, 1951 in Hempstead, NY and moved to Sebastian 4 years ago from Hollywood, FL, Port St. Lucie, FL and Canada.
He was an aircraft engineer for Grumman Aerospace, member of A.B.A.T.E. and was a Vietnam Era veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. LaRocca was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his partner Joan Shute of Sebastian, daughter Melanie Kent, mother Irene Calandriello of Port St. Lucie, FL, sister Debbie DeAngelis of Port St. Lucie, FL, brothers Michael Calandriello of Ronkonkoma, NY and Francis Calandriello of Gilbert, AZ.
He was predeceased by his father Michael Calandriello.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3375 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
