John Llewellyn Williams, 68, of Vero Beach died Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Indian River Medical Center.

Mr. Williams was born November 2, 1943 in Fort Knox, KY. He had been a resident of Vero Beach since July 2011, coming from Peachtree City, GA.

He served in the United States Air Force.

Prior to his retirement he worked as a Ramp Manager for Eastern Airlines for 25 years.

He was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Vero Beach.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years Elizabeth "Betty"; son, John (Debra) Williams of Stuttgart, Germany; daughter LeAnne (Darren) Singleton of Vero Beach; brother David Williams of Lexington, KY; and five grandchildren- Morgan, Blake, Caroline, Kayce and Anna.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer and Parkinson Association of Indian River County at 2300 5th Avenue Suite 150, Vero Beach, FL 32960.Services: A memorial service will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church in Vero Beach at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
