John Thomas McGrath, 72, of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. McGrath was born July 10, 1937 in Plattsburgh, NY and moved to Vero Beach 11 years ago from his place of birth.
He had been a Linotype Operator for Clinton Press in Plattsburgh, NY and a night security guard at Village Green in Vero Beach. He served in the US Navy during the 1950\'s.
Survivors include his sisters Mary Ann Trombley of Plattsburgh, NY, Kathleen Ford of North Port, FL and Yarmouth, ME and Patricia Hanley of Port Orange, FL and Indian Lake, NY.
No services are planned locally. Services will be in New York at a later date.
