John Richard Pfeffer, 86, of Vero Beach, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Indian River Medical Center. John was born November 24, 1924 in Brackenridge, PA, and moved to Vero Beach 11 years ago from Fort Lauderdale, FL. He was a WWII Navy veteran and worked for Chrysler-Dodge in Fort Lauderdale. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge. Survivors include his daughter Cathy Fischer of Vero Beach, son Richard Pfeffer of PA, 2 grandchildren, 2 brothers Bill and Larry of PA, and 2 sisters Betty and Beverly also of PA. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2011, at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel.
