John A. Pusey, 92, of Vero Beach, died Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

Mr. Pusey was born May 23, 1919 in Buffalo, NY to Charles and Caroline Pusey. He had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1974, coming from Cary, NC.

He served in the United States Army and Air Force during WWII.

He was an Eagle Scout who later served as a scout master for over twenty years, and had over forty scouts achieve Eagle status.

He was a member of the Congregational Church.

Survivors include his sister, Betty L. Lord of Chester, CT.

John is preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Dorothy Pusey.

Services are planned for a later date.
