John R. Saltvedt, 83 of Sebastian, FL died Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Sebastian River Medical Center.
He was born October 3, 1925 in Havgesund, Norway and was a resident of Sebastian for 16 years, coming from Griggstown, NJ.
Mr. Saltvedt had worked for New Jersey Brick Layers Union, and was a member of Coast Guard Aux., Sons of Norway and Sebastian Wood Carvers.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years Alice Saltvedt of Sebastian, FL and brother Leif Saltvedt of Melbourne, FL.
