John Raymond Sisbarro, Jr., Lt. Colonel US Army Ret., 78, of Port St. Lucie, FL died Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the Treasure Coast Hospice in Ft. Pierce, FL.
Lt. Col. Sisbarro was born January 28, 1931 in Newark, NJ and moved to Port St. Lucie six years ago from Ocean Springs, MS.
He had been a Master Aviator in the US Army, retiring at the rank of Lt. Colonel after 20 years of Service, and then working for GE as a Supply Chain Manager in Mississippi for seven years. Lt. Col. Sisbarro was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Biloxi, MS Elks Lodge and MCOA. He was an avid golfer and reader.
Survivors include his wife of 56 ½ years Dolores G. Sisbarro of Port St. Lucie; daughter and son-in-law Donna and Mike Vosburg of Morton, MS; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Gina Sisbarro of Chelsea, AL; brother and sister-in-law Patrick and Deborah Sisbarro of Port St. Lucie; five grandsons and a great-grandson.
Services: A memorial celebration with military honors will take place 10am, Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Veterans Memorial Park in Port St. Lucie.
