Jose Gilbert Rivera's Obituary
Jose Gilbert Rivera, 56, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Atlantic Healthcare Center after fighting cancer.
Mr. Rivera was born October 27, 1953 in New York, NY and moved to Vero Beach 17 years ago from Bronx, NY.
He had been a musician before a disability forced his retirement.
Survivors include his mother and step-father Lenia and Jose R. Colon of Vero Beach, FL, and brother Luis Rivera, MD of Melbourne, FL.
He was predeceased by his father Luis Rivera.
Services: The family will receive friends 10-12 Noon, Friday December 11, 2009 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach with a funeral service beginning at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
