Joseph L. Bertram, 83, of Vero Beach, FL., passed away on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2011 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, FL. Mr. Bertram was born in Milton, MA. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany at the end of the Second World War and was a police officer for over 25 years in Milton, MA., prior to his retirement to Vero Beach, FL.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Bertram of Vero Beach, FL.; daughters, Lisa Peters of Highland, IL., Kathryn Durrant of Fruita, CO. and Teresa Peltier of Fellsmere, FL.; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a sister, Jean Mattaliano of Milton, MA.
