Joseph F, Carducci, 72, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Carduci was born June 29, 1936 in Bradford, PA and was a winter resident of Florida since 1993 from Grove City, OH, moving to Vero Beach in 2003.
He attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, the Phoenix School of Art and the Art Students League. He graduated from Kent State University and after receiving his degree he taught art in the Southwestern City School System for two years. Mr. Carducci had worked for Ralph Castenir, the advertising firm Kight, Cowman & Abram of Columbus, OH and American Power as Manager of Communications Services. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Vista Royale Bowling League and Golf League, and served in the National Guard during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Rose Ann P. Carducci of Vero Beach; brother Don Carducci of Naperville, IL; sister Philomena Carducci of Rochester, NY and brother Nick Carducci of White Plains, NY.
Services: The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm, Friday, February 6, 2009 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach with a prayer service at 6:30 pm. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am, Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Holy Cross Church in Vero Beach.
