Joseph William Damateo, 78, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away October 1, 2013 at his home.
He was born March 5, 1935 in New Haven, CT and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1999, coming from Boca Raton, FL.
Mr. Damateo was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his children, Kayleen Pawlak and Joe Damateo.
Inurnment will take place at South Florida National Cemetery on Tuesday, October 15, 2013.
