Joseph Alan Frankeberger passed away at his home on January 29th. He was born in Washington, D.C. on December 5, 1931. He graduated from Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia as well as the University of Maryland. Joe had a long career in intelligence- first with the Army in Korea and later with the National Security Agency in Washington, D.C.

Joe retired to Vero in 1980. He was predeceased by his wife Jean Birchard, his sister Joyce Bisset, his brother John and his stepson William Tiers III.

In 1987, Joe and Mary Katherine Olney Tiers were married. He is survived by his wife Kay and a large family who will greatly miss "Grandpa Joe". A memorial service will be held later.
