Joseph Lilly, 83, of Vero Beach, FL died Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Lilly was born April 19, 1926 in New York, NY and moved to Vero Beach 24 years ago from Fishkill, NY.
He was a mechanic for construction and was a veteran of WW II, serving in the US Navy. Mr. Lilly was a member of the Operating Engineers Union local 137.
Survivors include his sons Harold Joseph Lilly of Vero Beach, Thomas Lilly of Cold Spring, NY and Andrew Lilly of Pompano Beach, FL, daughter Joanne Sandlin of Costa Rica, brother James Lilly of Nanuet, NY, and four grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Amelia Lilly.
Services: Family will receive friends 10-11 AM, Friday, February 19, 2010 with a service at 11 AM at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. Interment will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
