Joseph Michael Madigan, 77 of Sebastian, FL died Sunday, May 3, 2009 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.
He was born March 22, 1932 in Bronx, NY and was a resident of Sebastian for 27 years, coming from Seaford, NY.
Mr. Madigan was the owner of Madigan & Son Plumbing and Heating, he was a member of the Elks Lodge, Honorary member of the Knight of Columbus and the Sebastian Golf Course.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years Ruth Madigan of Sebastian, FL; son Joseph Michael Madigan, Jr. Of Seaford, NY; daughters Celenia Ruvolo of Ormond Beach, FL, Joanne Madigan of West Babylon, NY, Jeannette Hack of West Babylon, NY, Laureen Mayer of Palm City, FL; brother James Madigan of Sattelite Beach, FL; mother Celia C. Church of Sebastian, FL; 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.

A memorial service will be held 5:00 PM, Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian, FL. with BPOE #2714 rendering the Elks ritual followed by a religious service. A social and dinner will follow at the Elks Lodge next door.
