Joseph M. Nevins, 93, of Vero Beach, FL died Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Indian River Medical Center.
Mr. Nevins was born in Patchogue, NY and lived in Vero Beach for the last 38 years. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II, and a graduate from LSU. Prior to his retirement, he was a Professional Fund Raiser and traveled extensively as a consultant to national charities.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Marcia Yax Nevins; sons, James Nevins of Vero Beach, Daniel Nevins of Indiatlantic Beach, FL; daughters, Elizabeth Casano of Vero Beach, FL, and Maureen McGuire of St. Petersburg, FL. Mr. Nevins is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held, Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 12:00PM in St. Helens Catholic Church Christian Living Center.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Helens Catholic Church, 2000 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
