Joseph G. Pearce, 83, of Vero Beach, FL died Monday, December 1, 2008 at his home.
Mr. Pearce was born February 27, 1925 in Largo, FL and moved to Vero Beach 13 years ago coming from Murphy, NC.
He was a graduate of the University of Colorado and prior to his retirement he had been the Coin Telephone District Manager for Southern Bell. Mr. Peace was of the Episcopal faith and a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Jacqueline Pearce of Vero Beach; two sons Timothy J. Pearce of Vero Beach and James A. Pearce of Peachtree City, GA; a brother Edward Pearce of Hopkinsville, KY; and five grandchildren.
Services: A private family service may be held at a later date.
