Joseph Vincent Rampino, Jr, of Vero Beach passed away peacefully early Monday morning, October 17, 2016. He was born December 10, 1928 in the Bronx, NY, son of the late Joseph V. Rampino, Sr, and Alfia Franco.

Joseph was predeceased by his wife Catherine Lucille Stokes, and his sisters Filomena DeRose (late Frank) and Carmella Rampino. He is survived by his companion of many years Barbara Thims of Vero Beach; Ellen Handy Kozcka, former spouse and mother of his son Steven of Water Island, St. Thomas USVI, and daughter Kathleen Phillips of Stephen, MN; and his grandchildren, Rachel Rampino of Brooklyn NY and Theodore, Nicholas, and Clare Phillips of the Bronx, NY. He is also survived by a brother Felix (late Frances) of Toms River, NJ and a step-brother Pasquale Falconio (Edith) of West Palm Beach Fl; as well as nieces Angela DeRose Cavalluzzi, Mary Rampino Mitariten, and nephews Joseph and John Rampino, Joseph DeRose and Michael Falconio.

Private viewing and Memorial Service Friday October 21, 2016 at Cox, Gifford, Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.

The cremains of RAMPINO, JOSEPH V., JR will be privately interned at the family estate in Sandy Mush, NC
