Joseph Stephen Smith, 67, of Vero Beach, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 at his home.

He was born on October 13, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA, and lived in Vero Beach for 9 1/2 years, coming here from New Jersey.

Mr. Smith was a maintenance manager.

He is survived by his wife, of 44 years, Barbara Smith; sons, Brian Smith and Francis (Carmella) Smith; daughter, Lauren Harris; and six grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 28, 2014 at St. Helen Catholic Church.
