Joseph B. Whiteman's Obituary
Joseph B. Whiteman, 81, of Sebastian, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born April 18, 1929 in Lincoln, IL and was resident of Sebastian for 10 years coming from Vero Beach, FL.
Mr. Whiteman was a veteran who served in the US Army. He worked for R. L. Polk Publishing Company and Blue Cross - Blue Shield as a Sales Manager.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Lucy Whiteman of Sebastian; sons Paul Whiteman of Atlanta, GA and Micahel Whiteman of Hawaii; daughter Joanne Maloney of Atlanta, GA; brother Robert Whiteman of Middletown, IL; sister Peggy Dobey of Middletown, IL; and two grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sister Gloria Mae Whiteman.
Services will be held privately.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 2655 5th St. S.W, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Arrangements are under the direction of Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, Sebastian, FL.
