Joseph Melvin Winkelman Sr.
Vero Beach, FL- Joseph Melvin Winkelman Sr, 68, of Vero Beach FL passed away January 29, 2017 at the Indian River Medical Center. He was born October 18, 1948 in Chicago, to Melvin and Marialyce (Lowe) Winkelman.
Joseph was raised in Marengo, IL and graduated from Marengo Community High School in 1966. Joseph joined the Army in 1968 and served until 1970. Joseph has been a resident for more than 40 years at the Tanglewood Village and was known as the "handyman" to all the residents there.
He is survived by his Son, Joseph (Daisy) M. Winkelman Jr., his grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John C. Winkelman. There will a Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. Saturday February 11, at the Tanglewood Village Club house, 1060 S. US HWY 1, Vero Beach, FL.
