Josephine Emma Precord's Obituary
Josephine Emma Precord, 82, of Vero Beach, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the VNA Hospice House.
She was born on August 28, 1931 in Ossineke, MI and lived in Vero Beach for 23 years, coming from Newaygo, MI.
Mrs. Precord was a homemaker and a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church and Eucharistic Minister in Vero Beach, FL. She was also a volunteer of the Indian River Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, of 62 years, James Precord of Vero Beach, FL; son, James Joseph Precord "Jill" of Vero Beach, FL; daughters, Mary Ann (David) Schmitt of White Hall, MI, Karen Marie (Joseph) Mead of Nunica, MI, Susan Kay (Daniel) Brewer of Muskegon, MI, Beth Lynn (Douglas) VanProoyen of Saranac, MI and Patti Jo (Louis) Green of Gaylord, MI; sisters, Freda Schultz, Yvonne Steele, Bernice Kuehl , Winifred Holmes and Nancy Robinson; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral home with Father Murphy officiating.
