Joshua David Barnum, 21, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, February 21 at his home.
Mr. Barnum was born October 24, 1986 in Worcester, MA and moved to Vero Beach in 1995 from Spencer, MA.
He received his GED from Vero Beach High School and had been a waiter at the Quail Valley Golf and Country Club in Vero Beach. He enjoyed skateboarding, dance and gymnastics.
Survivors include his parents Lisa and David Barnum of Vero Beach; a sister Rebecca Barnum of Vero Beach; maternal grandmother Barbara L. Charland of Vero Beach; maternal grandfather and step-grandfather Rosaire and Anne Charland of Woonsocket, RI; and maternal great-grandmother Lucy Brunell of Southbridge, MA. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Watts and Rhoda Barnum.
Services: The family will receive friends 6-7 PM, Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach followed by a memorial celebration at 7 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Carol Trax of The Community Church in Vero Beach officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Joshua Barnum Fund at the Indian River Federal Credit Union in Vero Beach.
