Joyce R. Townsend, 89, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, December 9, 2010 in Maryland.
Mrs. Townsend was born October 27, 1921 in Enfield, England immigrated to the United States in 1947. She had moved to Vero Beach in 1988 coming from Easton, CT.
Survivors include her brother, John Clarke of England, daughters, Anne Brennen of Jupiter, FL and Gail Bellucci of Jefferson, MD; four grandchildren and three great granddaughters.
She was predeceased by her husband James.
Services: A memorial service is planned for 1 PM, Saturday, December 18, 2010 at St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church in Vero Beach.
Memorial contributions may be made to 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
