Juan F. Pantoja, 62, of Port St. Lucie, FL died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart, FL.
Mr. Pantoja was born September 4, 1947 in Puerto Rico, moved to Chicago from Puerto Rico then to Florida and has been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past nine years.
He had been mail carrier for the Postal Service in Florida and Puerto Rico.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years Evelyn Pantoja of Port St. Lucie, FL; mother Maria Velez of Puerto Rico; son Lee Pantoja of Chicago, son John Pantoja of Chicago, daughter Kim Pantoja of Chicago, step-sons Jason and Dion Orta of Chicago; sisters Nilda Pantoja of Puerto Rico and Inez Cuadra of Chicago; brothers Ismael Pantoja of Puerto Rico, David Pantoja of Chicago and Gelo Pantoja of Puerto Rico; and six grandchildren.
Services: The family will receive friends 6-9 PM, Friday, March 19, 2010 at a memorial gathering at the Pantoja residence.
