Junita N. Allen, 96, of Vero Beach, died Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Royal Palm Convalescent Home.

Mrs. Allen was born October 21, 1915 in Concord, FL. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1919, coming from Concord.

She attended the 20th Avenue First Church of God in Vero Beach, and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her son, Bobby (Terri) Allen of Vero Beach; five grandchildren, Nicki Allen, Kristy Allen and Sarah Allen all of Vero Beach, Dawn Lampkin of Mississippi, and Darren Allen of Indiana; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Robert Allen and her son, Donald L. Allen.

Services. A visitation will be held from 5-8PM on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. The funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Cox Gifford Seawinds. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery.
