Obituary

Judith "Judy" Mazzucca", a woman of fierce independence, a sun-seeker, and a devoted matriarch, passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 69.

Born on March 30, 1956, Judy was known for her sharp wit and her unwavering honesty—you always knew exactly where you stood with Judy, and her friends and family loved her all the more for it. She dedicated 27 years of her professional life to Prudential, where her hard work and reliability were constants. However, if you asked Judy about her greatest legacy, she wouldn't point to her career; she would point to her sons, David and Bill. Her role as a mother was her proudest achievement and the heartbeat of her life.

In her later years, Judy followed the warmth, retiring to Vero Beach, Florida. There, she spent her days exactly as she loved: soaking up the sun and enjoying the peace of the coast. A true lover of music, Judy was happiest in the crowd of a live concert, feeling the energy of the performance.

While she was known for her grit and independence, Judy also possessed a remarkably large heart. She was the friend who showed up, the one who offered help without being asked, and a steady presence for those she loved.

Judy is reunited in peace with her late husband, William. Her legacy of strength and love continues through her sons, David and Bill; her cherished partner of six years, Vinny; her daughter-in-laws, Jordan and McKenzie. She was the proud grandmother to Charlee and Cooper, who brought her immense joy and will grow up hearing stories of their grandmother's independent spirit and generous heart.
