Judith Mullin Skeffington, 90, passed away May 23, 2014 in Vero Beach, FL.
She was born in Newark, NJ.
Judith was a graduate of Eden Hall and Manhattanville College. She worked in publishing and education before lovingly embracing family life. She was particularly devoted to her work at Martin House with inner city children in Trenton, NJ. She was also a committed volunteer with the Board of Elections and The Arc.
Judith had been a resident of Vero Beach for 5 years, coming from Lawrenceville, NJ.
She is survived by daughter, Katherine Skeffington, Blairstown, NJ, sons Donald Skeffington, Minneapolis, MN, and Simon Skeffington, Brick, NJ, and sisters, Margaret Evans, Red Bank, NJ, Patricia Bransome, Philadelphia, PA, brother, David Mullin, Damariscotta, ME, and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Skeffington was predeceased by her husband, Donald James, who was a judge of the New Jersey Workers' Compensation Court. They resided in Tewksbury Township and Princeton, NJ. She was also predeceased by daughters, Margaret Kachadorian and Brigid Skeffington and by brother, Raymond Mullin.
A memorial service will be held on June 23rd at 2:30 pm at Willow Brooke Court at Indian River Estates. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, July 3rd at the Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrenceville Road , Lawrenceville NJ
