June Allen Alley passed away on March 28, 2011 at Indian River Estates in Vero Beach, Florida. She was born in Crystal City, MO and lived in Florissant, MO where she was employed by McDonnell Douglas, now Boeing, for 19 years in an Electronic Calibration Laboratory.
June was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach and a Member at Large of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Both her husband, Willard E. Alley, Sr. and her stepson, Willard E. Alley Jr. predeceased her in 1990. She was also predeceased by her brother, Ethan B. Allen and her sister-in-law, Ramona Rae Allen.
Her Fianc, Carl Ward, of Vero Beach, FL survives her. She is also survived by a niece, Pamela Allen Morris of Portsmouth, VA; a nephew Ethan Wesley Allen of Foristell, MO and four stepchildren, Kay Hart of Valles Mines, MO; Forrest Alley of Potosi, MO, Bob Alley of Viburnum, MO, and Jinny Sachsenmaier of Chatham, IL.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011, 2:00 pm at Indian River Estates East, Vero Beach, Florida with Chaplain Bill Meade officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to The Salvation Army or Hospice of the Treasure Coast. A family graveside service will be held in Springfield, IL.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Gifford Funeral Home with internment in Springfield, IL.
