June Marie Whalen's Obituary
June Marie Whalen, 85 of Vero Beach, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at VNA Hospice House. Born in Long Branch, NJ on February 17, 1930, she resided there most of her life.
June was a realtor in the real estate business, retired and relocated to Vero Beach in 2005, coming from Freehold, NJ.
Predeceased by a daughter, she is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, John Whalen of Vero Beach; children, Kathryn Martone of Wall, NJ, Carol Kuderna of Ocean, NJ and Russell Stroupe; stepchildren, John Whalen of Englishtown, NJ, Susan Hall of Midlothian, VA, Sheila Romm of Virginia Beach, VA, Sharon Herlan of Freehold, NJ and Elizabeth Donnelly of Hiawassee, GA; sister, Barbara Malinconico of Freehold, NJ; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Monday, February 8, 2016 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 8, 2016 at St. Helen Catholic Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
