Justin Garrett Dale, age 33, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at his home. Born Dec. 24, 1977, to Sarah Jane Ehrhart and Leonard Dale in Illinois, he moved to Okeechobee in 1988 and attended Okeechobee schools.
He graduated from Okeechobee High School where he was a member of the basketball team and was involved also in several other community sports. He loved spending time with his two sons, Colby Dale, age 11, and JayDee Dale, age 6. Fishing and working outside were also favorite pastimes.
He is survived by two sons, Colby of Lake City, Fla. and JayDee of Okeechobee; mother, Jane Ehrhart of Okeechobee; father, Leonard Dale of Wellington, Ill.; brothers, Austin of Hillsboro, Ill. and Lennie of Ft. Myers, Fla. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held Saturday, Mar. 26, 2011, from 10am until noon in Belleville Hall at Abundant Blessings Church, 4550 Highway 441 North, Okeechobee.
In lieu of flowers, a savings account has been established for Justins two sons at MidFlorida Credit Union, 3261 U.S. Highway 441 South, Okeechobee.
