Karen Lou Baker-Yates, 68 of Sebastian, FL passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, FL.
She was born May 29, 1941 in Klammath Falls, OR and was a resident of Sebastian since 1998 coming from CA.
Ms. Baker was a homemaker and was a member and past President of VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She also was active in service work at the Orioles and Eagles in Sebastian..
Survivors include her husband of 12 years, Jimmy Yates of Sebastian, FL; two daughters Janet Wagner of Sebastian, FL, Debbie Wagner of Sebastian, FL; son James Yates, Jr. of Port St. Lucie, FL; two sisters Rhonda Lord, Jeannie Lubin all of Stockton, CA and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at the VFW with a reception to follow.
